My goal as an artist is to create a visual place of refuge.
Utilizing the principles of impressionism, plein air landscape painting, the colorist technique, and an intuitive sense of composition, I conjure up spaces that are free of the noise of everyday life. They are moments in time like colorful memories retaining only the most important details, comfortably hazy, unhurried, and a little mysterious.
